Interior:
Parchment Connolly Hide
These exclusive hand built convertibles by Mulliner Park Ward were built in the best tradition of British Coach Building, using only the finest materials plus Wilton Carpets, Connolly Hide and Burr walnut woodwork. The Corniche shared some of the panels with the four door Shadow, but otherwise the bodywork was unique - a distinctive dipping upper wing line with parallel crease, and revised, more rounded posterior. This process took over twenty extra weeks and commanded a price 50 per cent higher than the Shadow.
This stunning example is the revised model (2) which shared the Spirit chassis with better handling and updated dashboard and bumpers.
This stunning example has a mileage of 59,139 and has been lovingly maintained with 16 Service Stamps in the original book. Early history was in Jersey where it was delivered by St Helier Rolls Royce and then main dealers and specialists. It came to the UK in 2007 and will be serviced by N Sandell Rolls Royce before delivery to its next lucky owner.
Bodywork is exceptional and finished in its original colour of Dark Oyster (code 9510439).Wheels/trim are exceptional and the car is on the button. It is the best drive of any Corniche that we have ever had with the smooth uprated injection engine,
The parchment hide is beautiful as is the Birds Eye Maple wood with cumberland carpets and fluffy over rugs.
The original cream Everflex Hood is exceptional as is hood mechanism, structure and Cloth headlining.
Please view any cheaper and inferior examples first. We spend a lot of time looking for the 'right' cars. The refurbishment costs on these cars mean that it is better and more economical to buy one that is ready.
Excellent Corniches are thin on the ground and an immaculate example in perfect colours such as this with low mileage is a sure and enjoyable investment.
Complete with all tools, spare wheel, lots of invoices, original service book and Hand Book and owners information, two keys, recent service, long MOT and Hpi check.
